Jordana Anderson Program Director

Jordana "Jody" Anderson has worked in the field of substance abuse for over ten years in both inpatient and outpatient settings. She is currently a member of Avenues' allied staff and facilitates weekly groups in both the adolescent and adult programs. Jody received her master's in social work from Virginia Commonwealth University and her bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Virginia. Jody believes that chemical dependency and mental health issues often coexist. She views chemical dependency as a physical disease which affects the entire person as well as those who love the person suffering from addiction.
