adolescent assessment
Avenues' highly trained staff provides thorough assessment to ensure that each adolescent receives the appropriate level of care to meet his/her individual needs. Assessment tools include bio psychosocial history, extensive alcohol and other drug use history, urine drug screen, patient and family interview and administration of the Substance Abuse Subtle Screening Inventory for Adolescents (SASSI-A2).
Student Assistance Program (SAP) assessments and court assessments are available and meet the standards established by the local school system and the juvenile justice system. A formal, written, assessment report will be provided if necessitated by a patient's individual circumstance
