Adolescent Behavioral Disorder and Substance Abuse Treatment
Individual Therapy
One-on-one therapy sessions provide patients with individual assistance in resolving issues related to substance abuse and anger. We believe that good treatment is a cooperative effort between patient and therapist.
Individual sessions are 50 minutes in length. While in the behavioral disorder and substance abuse treatment group, individuals are required to attend individual sessions one time per week, either with a therapist at Avenues or with an existing therapist. Time in treatment beyond the 12 week group program is determined by the need of the individual. Patients will be required to submit to urine drug screens at each group and individual session.
